It’s exciting to witness this steering committee working truly as a team to pursue this designation. Yesterday’s meeting was vibrant and full of a willing can-do vibe that feels strong. 
We’re working on the multiple PR pieces to launch in the coming weeks in time for the April 17th public announcement of this effort. April 17, 2012 was the day that American Rivers announced the Crystal River as on of America’s Most Endangered Rivers.
